-William W. (Canady) Yeater-William W. (Canady) Yeater, 69 of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Burial will be held in Indian Creek Cemetery. Casketbearers will be William D. Canady, Steven Canady, Michael Flanagan, David Flanagan, Jeff Flanagan, Eric Wagner, Paul Beatty and Darrell McIntire. Honorary casketbearers will be Sean Wagner, Chris King, Michael McGill, Scott Canady and Shane Roberts. Following the committal services a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Fruitland Community Center. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 P.M. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. William Wayne was born on October 7, 1938, in Tucson, Arizona. On October 8, 1959, William was united in marriage to Mona Fern Hansford in Muscatine, Iowa, they later divorced. William later married Mary Jane Huro on February 28, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas. William was a jack of all trades and master of all. He enjoyed restoring old cars, building his Harley Davidson Chopper, traveling, NASCAR, riding his motorcycle, especially with his brother-in-law, Joe Huro, having coffee with his coffee club friends at Twin Oaks, and especially spending time with his family and his dog, Rocky. William was preceded in death by his father Norman Lee Yeater; step-father, Earl McGill, Sr.; and two grandsons, John Patrick Flanagan and Ryler Wayne Canady. |
