-Margery A. Dodder-Margery A. Dodder, 85, of Columbus Junction, died Friday, September 21, 2007, at her home in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Margery A. Harbison was born on November 9, 1921, in Conesville, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Ramer) Harbison. Margery attended Parsons College and on November 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to J. Dean Dodder in Kahoka, Missouri. She was a member of the Letts United Methodist Church and a past president of the Letts Jr. Federated Club and Chapter T of the T.T.T. Margery worked as a secretary of the Letts Schools, in the scheduling department at Thatcher Glass and 16 years in the accounting department at Monsanto. She also had worked at the Village Shop of Sterneman’s Clothing and as House Director of Kappa Delta sorority at Iowa State University. Margery enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing bridge, socializing with friends and especially, spending time with her grandchildren. Margery will be deeply missed by her son, Joseph Dodder of Bakersfield, California; 5 grandchildren, Lisa Coffman of Leawood, Kansas, Jon Dodder of Muscatine, Tracey Tikwart of Leawood, Kansas, Duke Dodder of Bakersfield, California and Boyd Dodder of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and her brother, Herbert Harbison Jr. (Stub) and his wife, Mildred of Morning Sun. Margery was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. Dean; one son, David Dodder and one brother, Jack Harbison.
