Elaine E. Frank, 83 of Riverside, died Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Funeral services for Elaine were held at 10:00A.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. Rev. Rich Adam officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Elaine Elizabeth Stransky was born on May 11, 1922 in Riverside, the daughter of Alvin and Victoria (Keifer) Stransky. On august 17, 1944, Elaine was united in marriage to Robert “Jake” Frank in Riverside. She was a homemaker. Elaine was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, gardening and cooking, but most of all, Elaine loved to spend time with her family.

Elaine will be dearly missed by her tow sons, David Frank and his wife, Jann, of Riverside and Richard Frank and his wife, Jane, of Riverside; four daughters, Marilyn Schons and her husband, Richard of Waterloo, Janet Lidtka and her husband, Randy, of Grinnell, Diane TeBockhorst and her husband, James, of Kalona and Nancy Van Scoyoc and her husband, Rodney of Solon; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Sweeting and her husband, Byron, of Riverside and Rita DeCamp of Silver Springs, Maryland.
