-Margaret L. Robertson-Margaret L. Robertson, 91 of Columbus Junction, died Friday, December 30, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Margaret Lucille Bell was born on January 4, 1914, the daughter of Spencer and Winifred (Peters) Bell. She graduated from Cotter High School. Margaret was united in marriage to Keith Hutton Robertson in August of 1937. She was a homemaker and worked at various restaurants and drug stores in Columbus Junction. She and her husband Keith, farmed, owned and operated the John Deere Store and Robertson Real Estate. Margaret was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and a former member of the PEO and TTT. Margaret enjoyed cooking, entertaining friends, flowers, gardening and bridge, but most of all, Margaret dearly loved being with her grandchildren. Margaret will be dearly missed by her son, Larry Robertson and his wife, Connie, of Columbus Junction; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Mildred Harbison and her husband, Herbert Jr. of Morning Sun. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith in 1984, two sisters, Dorothy Kilgore and Anita Hill and one brother, Donald Bell. |
