-Arthur Lloyd Thomas-Arthur Lloyd Thomas, age 86, of Columbus Junction, died Friday morning, November 2, 2007, at the Colonial Manor of Columbus Community. The son of Edward and Catherine Arthur Thomas, he was born May 6, 1921, at Cotter. He attended Cotter School and graduated in the Class of 1938. He attended the University of Iowa. Art was a member of the Cotter Presbyterian Church and enjoyed sports, drawing pictures, and doing crossword puzzles. He is survived by three nieces, Susan and Salih Kokol of Old Bridge, New Jersey, Donna and Sal DiPuma of Lake Grove, New York, and Lisa Thomas of Astoria, New York; a great-nephew; two great-nieces; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Homer; and a sister-in-law, Marion. A graveside service was held at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 5, 2007, at the Cambrian Cemetery, rural Columbus Junction. Chaplain Donnita Payne Hostetler officiated.
