Ezra Barnett, 28, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died Saturday, February 06, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Columbus Junction, Iowa.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00am at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, Iowa.  Pastor Billy Bob will officiate.  Casket bearers will be Jose Sifuentes, Jose Luis Gil, Salvador Fonseca, Trino Perez, Kirt Bunch, Alex Henkel, Steve Fowler and Adam Henkel.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine, Iowa.  Visitation will be Friday, February 12th from 4:00-8:00pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ezra Barnett Memorial Fund. Ezra James Barnett was born May 18, 1981 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Darrel LaRue and Debra Lynn (Barnett) Montoya.  Ezra had worked as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed being with his son, fishing and camping.  Ezra and Nikki Vandel were currently in the process of opening a beauty salon in Columbus Junction.  He always enjoyed doing something with friends.

Ezra will be dearly missed by his mother, Debra Montoya of Monticello, IA; his children, Jacob Quintin Barnett of Columbus Junction, Mia Gonzales of Muscatine, Tyler Keep of Lone Tree, Briton of Ottumwa and Dayton Reynolds of Davenport; his special friend, Nikki Vandel of Columbus Junction; his sisters, Veronica Nieto and Jose Angel of Grandview, Mariana Jimenez and Estrella Gonzalez, both of Ainsworth; Salvador Fonseca of Monticello and Jose Cruz Sifuentes of Columbus Junction.

Ezra was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Barnett and June Brown, and his father, Darrel LaRue.
